Phlox subulata ‘Scarlet Flame’ and its relatives are native to north America. It offers beneficial sustenance to visiting pollinators and tends to be left alone by unwanted garden pests. Plant with other creeping phlox for uniformity of style and variance of colour or other foliage interest, such as ivy and hostas, to create a verdant oasis.
