The ‘Entrancing Erysimum Collection’ is a stunning mix of vibrant, fragrant, long-lasting blooms in spring, summer and autumn. Well-loved for their long flowering they are perfect for both cottage gardens, and more modern planting schemes. As floriferous as traditional annual wallflowers, but without the need to replace each year.
Your ‘Entrancing Erysimum Collection’ comprises; ‘Artists Paintbox’ - a full palette of different colours as dense racemes of yellow-orange, salmon, purple-pink and reddish-purple blooms change colour as they mature, height of 25-40cm and spread of 30-45cm; ‘Tropical Sunset’ – pretty flowerheads in shades of orange and yellow, fading as they mature to terracotta and pink, height 20-30cm, spread 30-40cm; and ‘Lilac Wonder’ – masses of fragrant blooms in delicate soft lilac shades, height 30cm, spread 40cm.
Erysimum will last up to 10 days when cut for a vase, bringing the gentle scent into your home. Easy to grow, rabbit resistant, and loved by bees, they prefer well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
Erysimum are hardy perennials and will happily survive most winters outside, only needing protection during the very coldest temperatures if the soil is not well-drained.
