Tell Me More...

Each bloom has tightly packed semi-double ruffles to the centre, surrounded by larger, looser, petals creating an explosion of flowers when they appear in May and June. A generous and unusual flower which offers a fantastic way to enhance your planting, flowers can also be cut for a vase or bouquet where their sweet, uplifting fragrance will enhance your home too. Paeonia are best planted as a bare root in cooler months. This will give Paeonia lactiflora ‘Chiffon Parfait’ time to establish its roots further before the verdant, bushy top growth emerges in the warmer, April weather and allows it to be sustained through to October time. New to us for 2024 Paeonia lactiflora ‘Chiffon Parfait’ prefers moist, well-drained soil of any kind. Position in full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north facing. A hardy (H6), deciduous perennial which matures to a height of 90cm, with a spread of 60cm.
