Like all Anemone, September Charm is loved by bees and butterflies while being slug, rabbit, and deer resistant.Despite their name, Japanese Anemone originate in China, but were cultivated in Japan for centuries. Dark pink, semi-double flowers with bright yellow stamens will brighten up any shady area and are perfect for attracting local butterflies. Anemone x hybrida September Charm has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden. She is incredibly versatile and thrives in almost any soil, including coastal areas for years without any winter protection. Reaching a mature height of approximately 75cm and spreading to 40cm, she is said to be happiest in moist, well-drained soil in partially shady borders and containers.
