As feisty as a Spanish dancer the flowers on these double primula frill, twist and flare like the beautiful dresses from whence they get their name. They will certainly make a statement when they burst open to celebrate the arrival of Spring. A versatile plant as happy outside and inside the home. These are a perennial, although often treated as an annual. Blooming from January to March with a height and spread of 20cm. The deeply ribbed, embossed ruff of lush, semi-evergreen, green foliage is crowned by the 3cm vibrant blooms, which should be deadheaded once spent to promote further flowers. ‘Flamenco Mix’ prefers a sunny or partially shaded position and do well in almost any setting which affords them a moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. Ideal companions are tulips, pansies and violets and they also make ideal container plants to add some warmth and colour to a shady corner.
