Ideal for pots and path edges, this collection includes 2 of the more unusual and exciting muscari in icy blue and 3-tiered pink, alongside the award winning and archetypal cobalt blue beauty. Commonly referred to as 'grape hyacinth' because the clusters of spherical flowers are held on upright stems in a uniform style - visually resembling bunches of grapes held upside down. Collection comprises: Muscari armeniacum - or Armenian grape hyacinth - with bold and beautiful blue flowers edged with white; Muscari 'Peppermint' with dense spikes of dark blue blending up to pure white flowers; and Muscari 'Ivor's Pink' with deep pink blooms at the bottom, blending to salmon pink and then white. All have a pleasing fragrance and are fabulous at drawing in the pollinators to the garden.Muscari prefer a moist, well-drained soil and a site where they benefit from full sun or partial shade. All are hardy perennial bulbs which will readily naturalise over time.
