Jasminum nudiflorum (Winter Jasmine) AGM - dazzling golden yellow blooms illuminate the winter garden from January to March, held on arching wiry stems which can be trained or left to scramble over walls, height and spread 3m;
Lonicera fragrantissima (Winter Honeysuckle) – highly scented creamy white booms are held on bare stems from November to February, height and spread 3m;
Viburnum × bodnantense 'Charles Lamont' (Arrowwood) – sweet perfume November to April from clusters of blooms held on bare branches, bronze foliage emerges in spring, maturing to dark green in summer then fiery shades in autumn, height 3m, spread 2m.
